We are looking for a Europe Logistics Engineer to join our dynamic Europe Logistics team.
Europe Logistics Engineer is responsible for distribution of Kone products to Customers managing an effective transportation and logistics network.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Europe Logistics Engineering professional. This position will be responsible for overseeing the logistical operations of our company in Europe, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials through the supply chain.
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and network in Europe
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities
3. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chain
5. Lead and coordinate projects related to logistics engineering, including process redesign and automation
6. Liaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials measuring their KPI
7. Support Finance in Budget and Forecast activities
8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics engineering
Requirements for the role:
9. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
10. Proven experience in Logistics Engineering, Logistics Analytics or similar role
11. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with others
14. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
15. Knowledge of European logistics regulations and practices
16. English mandatory, any other European language is a plus
17. Very advanced in use of Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint
18. Expert in definition and customization of QlikSense or any other BI reporting platform
The position is located in Pero (Milan).
