We're looking for a PLC Software Developer to join the Software and Commissioning group to support the production and internal testing of power converters and Battery Energy Storage Systems, mainly composed of containerized subsystems.
As a Software Developer, you will report to the Head of Software and Commissioning and your main responsibilities include the design and development of PLC, HMI and SCADA control systems, following all phases of the project life: concept, design of the hardware and software, development, testing, start-up and service.
Tasks and duties
* assist the project team in the drafting of the operating specifications of the control system;
* assist the project team in the configuration of the control hardware;
* develop the control software of NHOA systems in compliance with the control specifications and guidelines of the software office;
* develop HMI and SCADA software in compliance with project specifications and the guidelines of the software office;
* draft the software and control systems documentation, such as specifications and manuals;
* conduct the testing of the control systems in the factory or at suppliers by filling in the relative documentation;
* participate On Site in the commissioning of the plant, from the end of the installation until the end of the acceptance period;
* support the service office in the second level assistance of the plants;
* participate in software maintenance
* Bachelor's degree in Automation/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science. Otherwise: High school diploma in technical subjects (electrical/mechanical/electronics or similar)
* Knowledge of PLC SW development tool such as S7, TIA PORTAL - the f knowledge of Siemens technology will be considered preferential
* Knowledge of HMI and SCADA SW development tool such as WinCC, TIA PORTAL.
* Good knowledge of English
* Willingness to international business trip to follow plants commissioning
* Previous experience as an electrical installer or electrical maintainer will be considered a plus
