URBI is a company of 18 people, part of the Telepass Group, and on a mission to reshape how people move through cities. Our app empowers users to seamlessly explore, plan, and manage all their mobility needs—from shared scooters and taxis to trains and ferries—all in one place.
Available in cities across Italy and Europe, URBI brings together the convenience of multi-modal transport with intuitive features like map-based discovery, a mobility deals shop, integrated payments, and travel history tracking.
We're now looking for a Backend Developer mid-senior to help us scale and evolve our platform.
What we are looking for:
Backend Developer using Java/Kotlin
Strong TDD skills with Junit and Mockito
Passionate about urban mobility, electric vehicles and the sharing economy
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
Experience using SQL (Postgres), MyBatis and NOSQL (Redis)
Experience with REST APIs, Swagger and integration of different services
Experience with Amazon AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, SNS, Lambda) is a plus
Knowledge of Javascript, Python and Go is a plus
Must show some previous project and/or hacks
Passionate about quality and details, hard-working and a fast learner
Flexibility and willingness to learn
Good knowledge of English

Develop and maintain the main backend, the API and the auxiliary systems
Develop automated tests and mockup services
Support and contribute to out collaboration tools (GitHub, TeamCity)

Show commitment, readiness to take on responsibility, ability to work under pressure and flexibility
