Ph3Overview /h3pWe are seeking a talented Global Purchasing Manager Finished Goods AFM, to join our Purchasing team at Dayco. /ppThe role leads and coordinates the Global Aftermarket Purchasing Team, working closely with the Global Purchasing Manager to manage and develop strategic suppliers. Key responsibilities include driving cost reduction initiatives (Cost Out projects), identifying and developing new strategic suppliers, supporting supplier negotiations, and managing the procurement of new product lines and new SKUs within the NPI process. The role also supports SOP initiatives and cross-functional supply chain projects to ensure alignment across the organization. /ph3Main duties responsibilities /h3ulliSupervise the request for quotation (RFQ) process. /liliPrepare sourcing approval recommendations. /liliCoordinate of commodity strategies and sourcing activities. /liliDefine contracts with vendors and suppliers on pricing, lead time and terms of agreement. /liliWork with SQE to set suppliers approval process. /liliAnalyze spend for savings opportunities (internal and external). /liliManage local teams and monitor Global Cost Out Projects. /liliMaintain consistent communication with suppliers and Dayco engineering to ensure that new SKUs or COPs SKUs are approved. /liliInterface between suppliers and engineering/operations/marketing to answer questions related to RFQ. /liliSearch and development of current and new suppliers. /liliSet and monitor KPIs (cost savings, payment terms, Supplier scorecards). /liliWork with buyers to maintain supplier profiles, supplier scorecards, supplier capabilities, supply agreements contract files, price lists (through Suppliers Portal where active). /liliCoordinate the Suppliers Portal Administrator to keep the tool effective and updated. /liliSupport buyers to resolve blocked invoices and discrepancies related to price or quantity. /liliSupport buyers to work with PMs to support the procurement of new SKUs (NPI process). /liliWork with SQE to ensure that any supplier is in compliance with Dayco Quality system. /liliCoordinate the Team to support ISO-9001 Quality Audits. /liliCollaborate with Global Purchasing Manager for strategic suppliers. /li /ulh3Requirements and Skills /h3ulliMinimum 7-8 years of experience in purchasing roles in the Automotive Aftermarket. /liliFluency in English. /liliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. /liliData analysis and advanced Excel skills. /liliERP system knowledge (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards). /liliStrong sense of ownership and ability to work independently. /liliResults-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets. /liliTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills. /liliStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. /liliStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making. /liliAbility to manage and resolve conflicts constructively. /liliProactive mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions and improvements. /li /ulh3More information /h3ulliContract Type: Permanent position. /liliWorkplace: Europe – preference for candidates based near Ivrea (TO), Italy. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
