Ph3Purpose of the Role /h3The IT Manager for Italy serves as the point of contact for all IT activities and requests within the country. The role is based in Segrate (Segreen Park) and supports also the production plant in Latina.h3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliServe as the single point of contact for IT across all of the company’s Italian locations for issues, requests, incidents, and IT changes. /liliManage and coordinate local IT support activities (hardware, software, network, workplace) to ensure operational continuity for users. /liliCollaborate daily with international IT teams (Network, Server, Workplace Management, Applications, Procurement) to implement projects, resolve complex issues, and ensure alignment with global standards. /liliEnsure that the local IT infrastructure aligns with global policies and corporate best practices. /liliEnsure compliance with Italian IT regulations and legal obligations (e.g., privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, NIS2, data retention, industry-specific regulations, software licenses). /liliMonitor and manage local IT vendors in accordance with global guidelines (contracts, SLAs, service quality, costs). Control the budget and procurement process of IT services that need to be locally provided or paid for. /liliSupport the implementation of new IT systems, applications, and tools at Italian locations, overseeing basic training and user adoption. /liliMaintain effective communication with local and international management, providing updates on system status, significant incidents, projects, and risks. /liliPromote a culture of collaboration and service toward Italian and international colleagues, ensuring availability, attentiveness, and support. /liliIdentify and propose improvements to local IT processes to increase efficiency, security, and service quality. /liliInstall, configure, and test hardware, software, and other technical systems (e.g., laptops, desktops) on-site for users. Troubleshoot: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to equipment, systems or software onsite. /liliManaging the entire PC leasing lifecycle for PCs. /liliMaintain an accurate device inventory and keep the CMDB up to date at all times for local CIs. /liliMaintain tidy and organized IT rooms, server rooms and storage areas. /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliStrong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure: networks, servers, Microsoft environments, workstations (desktops, laptops, mobile devices), business applications, SAP. /liliFamiliarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices. /liliBasic knowledge of relevant Italian IT regulations (privacy, data protection, NIS2, compliance, software licensing, etc.). /liliExperience managing IT vendors (contracts, SLAs, escalations). /liliKnowledge of ServiceNow is a plus. /li /ulh3Language And Communication Skills /h3ulliExcellent spoken and written English for daily interactions with international colleagues and teams. /liliExcellent internal communication skills, able to translate technical topics into language understandable to the business. /liliAbility to work in multicultural and geographically distributed teams. /li /ulh3Personal Skills /h3ulliStrong focus on service and user support, with a helpful and collaborative approach toward both Italian and international colleagues. /liliAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. /liliProblem-solving, proactivity, and attention to detail. /liliAbility to mediate between local needs and global guidelines. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
