OverviewJob description: He/she support the Accounting and Tax Director to ensure compliance to the corporate fiscal duties with respect to the existing fiscal regulations and to ensure the tax reporting to local tax authorities and to HQ.Responsibilities
Contributes to ensures the compliance with all the fiscal duties (Corporate Tax returns, VAT, other fiscal duties)Support the completion of Italian income tax and indirect tax returns including all related analysis and supportProvides statutory tax calculations under local GAAP the calculation of current and deferred taxes for quarterly and annual financial statementsManages quarterly German Gaap and IFRS Tax ReportingContributes to manages tax authority audits/enquiriesWorks with external firms and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (Transfer pricing, withholding tax, VAT etc)Manages and documenting transfer pricingActs has business partner by Providing strategic tax advice and supports to company projects/initiativesContributes to the development and maintenance of the tax control framework
Competences/Qualifications
Degree in Economics or Tax lawQualified Tax Advisor/CPA or comparable qualification is a plus1+ years working experience, preferably from a big-four tax consulting firm or tax function of a multinational companyKnowledge of Italian direct and indirect tax regulationsKnowledge of main fiscal dutiesKnowledge of tax reporting in accordance with IFRSBasic Accounting knowledgeKnowledge of financial, banking and insurance productsProficient knowledge of ExcelFluency in EnglishPersonal flairs Idealy IT skills, i.e. thinking in terms of digital work processes, and searching for and establishing digital solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills (innovative "solution seeker" rather than a "problem definer")Ability to work independently and under time pressure and comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambitious work environmentIs a hands-on team player who takes initiativeHas a self-starting, positive, and pragmatic attitude with the ability to think outside the boxCan manage multiple projects and topics simultaneouslyExcellent oral and written communication skillsIs proficient in financial software applications and has an affinity for automation
