About the role
As our PR & Communications Coordinator, you will support the coordination and implementation of the press relations strategy for the Village to ensure optimal positioning in local and international media, as well as delivering the right message to consumers, press, tourism professionals and internally
Reporting to the Senior PR & Communications Manager, you will support the optimal positioning of the Village in the local media and also the foreign media, focusing on the communication of the right image and message to the general consumer market, the influential press community, tourism professionals, internal staff and Brand partners, with the overall objective to drive footfall, revenue and the luxury shopping destination image.
The role is hybrid and is offered on a full time, permanent contract.

Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.
Design and implementation of the PR Plan
1. Support the design of a PR strategy aimed to build the credibility of the Village within the key fashion institutions, opinion leaders, media partners and corporate partners
2. Define a PR plan to support the Village’s annual and strategic plans and objectives for footfall targets and sales per customer spending targets in particular for HNWI
3. Support the coordination of the local, national and international PR strategy with a clear focus both on the national and regional level
4. Regularly analyse market information of sales, results, impact of PR initiatives and activities, the market trends and the local consumer behaviour
5. Support the development of an effective internal communication of the Village PR positioning and ‘voice’ to all departments and share it throughout Value Retail
Press and PR
6. Support the management of external PR consultants or agencies on all PR issues including event planning and organization
7. Work with press agency to obtain a well-placed, high quality editorial coverage in targeted press, off-line and on-line media and play an active role in the delivery of the concept and the image of the Village
8. Support the production and promotion of all village press tools (including press release production, copywriting)
9. Liaise with the PR agency on the organization of PR activities, e.g. press trips
10. Support the development of press events to promote the Village including logistics, proposals, set-up and event management and oversee the production and promotion of these events
11. Support the development of press or VIP events or visits to promote the Village including proposals/ set-up/ management with event manager
12. Manage, monitor and analyse process and reporting tools
13. Coordinate all artwork of the press documents of the Village according to group guidelines
14. Organisation, welcome and coordination of international press trips
15. Support the collaboration with journalists/editors (fashion, lifestyle, art, music, sport, food and travel) to obtain well-placed, high quality editorial coverage in targeted press and media
16. Create and update international and local journalists mailing list and influencers database.
17. Editorial results analysis for action plan and ROI
18. Coordinate trade and travel press, organizing itineraries in collaboration with travel partners, transfers, gifts and gift card.
