Over 8,000 employees constantly take on new perspectives to identify opportunities and turn them into inspiring, innovative solutions for tomorrow’s demands. /p h3About the job /h3 pThe Ventilation System Expert is responsible for the coordination and execution of projects related to the development of new ventilation systems, including electric motors, blowers and impellers. /p pThe role acts as a key technical reference, in defining product development strategies with a strong impact on business performance, product competitiveness and innovation roadmap. /p pThis role will be based in Fabriano (AN) - Italy, and reports to the Head of Global Functional Components. /p h3Your tasks /h3 ul liLead the design and development of new ventilation systems, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholder requirements, regulatory constraints and market trends; /li liManage projects across all development phases, from concept generation and feasibility assessment through execution, validation and industrial phase‑in; /li liDrive Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Standardization initiatives aimed at reducing product cost, complexity and variability across current and future product platforms; /li liCollaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions to improve product robustness, resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives; /li liDefine and oversee validation and qualification test plans to ensure compliance with performance, reliability, timing and cost targets; /li liCoordinate technical activities with external partners and suppliers in co‑design and co‑development projects; /li liActively contribute to cross‑functional teams in defining the product and technology strategic roadmap; /li liEnsure effective and structured communication of project status, risks and results to internal and external stakeholders. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline; /li liAt least 5 years of relevant experience in RD in similar roles; /li liExperience working in cross‑functional and international teams is considered a strong advantage; /li liStrong expertise in electric motor design, with in-depth knowledge of motor technologies used in household appliances, including BLDC motors, capacitor motors and shaded pole motors; /li liSolid technical background in CFD analysis applied to complete ventilation systems (motor, blower, impeller and system integration); /li liProven ability to apply system‑level thinking to optimize performance, efficiency, noise and reliability; /li liStrong orientation toward continuous improvement in test execution, test setup optimization and test data management (reports, databases and documentation); /li liFamiliarity with international standards and regulatory requirements related to electric motors and ventilation systems; /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, structured approach to project execution; /li liAbility to manage complexity and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; /li liEffective communication skills at both technical and managerial levels; /li liFluent English and Italian (spoken written).
