The Portfolio Manager is responsible for coordinating the lead portfolio management process, ensuring alignment between company strategiy, project demand and supplier’s operational capacity. Plan, monitor, and optimize the availability of mandays to guarantee effective execution of the portfolio epics. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Lean Portfolio Management Coordinate the entire lean portfolio management (LPM) process, from intake of ideas, trought the pahses of pre-qualification, exploration, finalization and prioritization. Facilitate the liason of portfolio contents with the company initiative strategy Supporting Portfolio Epic Owners in lean business case preparation Organize LPM routines and update of the portfolio epics status on LPM tools. Produce periodic reports on portfolio status,funding and MVP targets. Continuos improvement of LPM routines and tools. Operational Capacity Planning &, Monitoring Coordinate the planning of supplier’s capacity in terms of available and allocated mandays. Guarantee the overall balance between projects demand and operational capacity. Act as pivot among Agile Product Owner for capacity monitoring and balancing among different teams and skills. Propose corrective actions or reallocations in case of issues. Produce periodic reports on capacity planning and resource utilization. Supplier Relationship Management Support supplier’s contracts preparation Support SAL routines and contractual deliverables status tracking WHAT ’RE LOOKING FOR 5 years of experience in portfolio/project management or PMO Solid understanding of SW project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Strong knowledge of capacity planning and manday measurement, SW development job profiles ad fees. Experience with planning and tracking tools (e.g., MS Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Excel dashboards). Familiarity with software delivery processes and IT team dynamics. Strong organizational and analytical skills, strong planning orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize complex information for executive audiences. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally NICE-TO-HAVES Knowledge and experience in agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe Knowledge of main software products business model (PaaS, SaaS, etc) Knowledge of product-based organization in software development domain Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, PMI-PBA, SAFe, Scrum certifications) are a plus.
