About the Role

As an experienced compliance professional, you will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating supplier compliance with social responsibility standards. This involves conducting on-site assessments to review employment records, interviewing workers, and performing wage tests.


Key Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough social compliance assessments based on established procedures and client expectations.
* Deliver high-quality reports within set timelines, adhering to LRQA and client protocols.
* Maintain expertise in social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws.
* Collaborate with internal team members, including training, coordinators, and administrative staff.
* Work closely with co-assessors to achieve task objectives during on-site assessments and reporting processes.
* Ensure adherence to company policies regarding integrity and confidentiality of information.
* Promote a culture of transparency and ethics, preventing schedule leakage, unhealthy consultant behavior, and bribery attempts.


Required Skills and Qualifications


Education and Professional Background

* A university degree (graduate level or higher) with a specialization in Labor Law, Human Resources, Social Work, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environmental Studies.


Legal and Industry Knowledge

* In-depth understanding of international, national, and local laws and standards relevant to labor compliance.
* Familiarity with region-specific issues requiring cultural sensitivity and further investigation when necessary.


Auditing Expertise

* Proven ability to conduct supplier compliance assessments, including confidential worker interviews, record reviews, and wage tests.


Language and Communication

* Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and English.


Travel Flexibility and Time Management

* Ability to travel extensively and frequently, with excellent time management skills and independence under varying conditions.

You will be a skilled auditor with a passion for ensuring suppliers adhere to social responsibility standards. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. With your strong background in labor law and industry knowledge, you will be well-equipped to navigate complex compliance issues.
