We offer:
AsImplementation Project Manager you will lead large and complex contract logistics implementation projects in the EUR Region being accountable from the approval of the Investment Proposal until final transition to the Area organization upon successful completion of go-live hyper care period. You will cover complex greenfield or more standard Lease implementation and cover all aspects of planning, delivery, risk management and financial management. You will coordinate across the global, regional and area organization as well as the different functional responsibilities like product, HSSE and technology. You will manage the internal and external stakeholder management and ensure we deliver on time, on specs and on budget, delivering the projected growth for Europe. Finally, you will support the Head of Contract Logistics in capability building within the implementation community and across our wider organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. You are the single point of accountability for the success of the overall single or multiple project implementation program and a single point of authority for all related decisions working independently and under the guidance of the Steering Committee with focus on continuously optimizing project scope, timeline and budget to deliver on the commercial business case
2. Define, develop and execute strategies & plans for the Project including implementation approach, contracting strategies, budgets and timelines and the successful handover upon go-live hyper care completion
3. Proactively manage internal and external key stakeholders – Maersk functions, external contractors, municipal and port authority, etc - in close collaboration with local Area Management and the Steering Committee.
4. Ensure rules of engagement and contract terms compliance during the project implementation, while deploy and drive global compliance initiatives delivering a risk focused culture and ensure the warehouse is fully compliant with global and country laws and regulations
5. Select, negotiate & enter into binding agreements with suppliers & contractors and be accountable for execution & maintenance of service levels as agreed
6. Ensure continued focus on risk management including suggested mitigations and being responsible for cost management and controls are implemented
7. Build market and product knowledge and ensure this information is shared with all relevant stakeholders, sales and colleagues in the wider business.
8. Act as a center of excellence adopting and sharing best practices with the project manager community across Europe as well as the development and coaching of peers and the organization, building capability, talent and bench strength
We are looking for
The role will require a highly motivated individual, able to analyze data in order to guide the team to identify opportunities, to develop and execute the overall sales strategy in line with our growth targets. We expect you to be able to speak Italian and English fluently. Having a significant experience in the Supply Chain industry, with strong understanding of the value drivers of supply chain and how that can help customers deliver value to their business.
We also envision you to have below:
9. Strong WND operational background and understanding, incl. extensive knowledge of technologies that support warehousing processes with proven vertical specific understanding on trade / regulatory / statutory and security compliance requirements and technological solutions
10. Holds certification in Prince2 or PMI project management and have significant experience in managerial positions in warehousing, and with a proven experience in greenfield projects.
11. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills and able to exercise sound business judgment in order to set direction and establish priorities
12. Requires excellent managerial skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work advanced verbal and written communications skills in English
13. Must be able to exercise confidentiality and discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company
14. Enjoys collaboration and with proven track record in a matrix, multi-cultural organization, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally and with good negotiation and conflict management capabilities
15. Agile and self-starter that enjoys working in a high pace and versatile environment demonstrating urgency and respect for deadlines.
