Midea Group is searching for a Project Engineer to join our team on-site in Feltre.
Job Description:
* Analyze existing HVAC systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of HVAC systems to evaluate their environmental impact, including embodied energy, operational energy, and end-of-life considerations.
* Recommend and implement strategies to improve HVAC system efficiency, such as equipment selection, control systems optimization, and renewable energy integration.
* Develop and maintain detailed documentation of HVAC system designs, calculations, and LCA assessments.
* Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure HVAC systems integrate seamlessly with the overall building design.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in HVAC technology, sustainability practices, and LCA methodologies.
* Design and optimize new HVAC systems using building modeling software and engineering principles.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC design and analysis.
* Proven experience conducting LCI studies and utilizing LCA software (SimaPro or similar).
* Working knowledge of LCA methodologies and frameworks, including familiarity with PEP (Product Environmental Profile) and EPD (Declaration of Product on the Environment) international standards.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in English is required.
