Position
We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and implementing Lean methodology, driving continuous improvement across operations to ensure process efficiency, cost reduction, and overall operational excellence. This position is crucial in developing strategies that improve productivity, layout optimization, and material flow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and implement improvement projects according to the company roadmap.
* Lead continuous improvement activities with a strong focus on efficiency and process enhancement.
* Apply and train team members in Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Six Sigma, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping.
* Support the design and development of factory layouts aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Monitor and manage projects aimed at optimizing material flow and supply chain efficiency.
* Optimize the supply of materials to production lines.
* Support the improvement of supply chain processes, including Transport Management Systems (TMS) and tenders.
Requirements:
* Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in a continuous improvement or manufacturing engineering role.
* Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement tools.
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with AS400, Windchill, and Minitab.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Strong organizational, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
* Ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
