THE MISSION?
Welcome to Mama Shelter, where the numbers are as essential as the vibes! As our Director of Finance, you’ll be at the heart of the action, orchestrating all the financial matters behind the scenes.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for

* Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment.
* Oversee accurate accounting records, statutory accounts, and financial reporting for the hotel.
* Lead all areas related to balance sheets, P&L, cash management, and capital.
* Manage the finance relationship with Operations, Head Office, and the Owner.
* Support the General Manager in strategic planning and value creation.
* Deliver clear and accurate reporting, including KPIs and benchmarking.
* Lead the hotel’s budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes.
* Ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
* Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing Finance Team.

o You’ve got a solid background in finance within the hospitality industry.
o You can juggle priorities and multiple projects with ease. You’re organized and always on top of things (no chaos here!).
o You’re a people person with the ability to collaborate across departments while keeping everything running like clockwork.
o You respect confidentiality – what happens at Mama, stays at Mama!
o You pay attention to detail: you catch every error, every penny, and every decimal point.
o You live, breathe, and dream in Excel – it’s your daily tool for reporting and calculations. You’ve mastered every formula.
