About the Role
We are seeking a hands‑on IT Project Manager to drive cross‑functional projects that link business operations with technology. This role is about getting things done — taking complex initiatives (POS/CRM/WMS integrations, HR/payroll digitalization, marketing automation, retail tech rollouts) and delivering them on time, within scope, and with real business impact.
Reporting to the Head of Technology & Systems, the IT Project Manager will work closely with Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
* Lead cross‑functional tech‑enabled projects from kickoff to delivery (system integrations, e‑commerce / system enhancements, new retail launches, automation rollouts).
* Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication.
* Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, translated into technical tasks, and delivered.
Cross‑Functional Alignment
* Partner with non‑technical stakeholders (Ops, Marketing, HR, Finance) to gather requirements, set priorities, and manage expectations.
* Act as the translator between business teams and developers/vendors.
* Keep alignment clear — no silos, no confusion.
Vendor & Technical Management
* Manage external development agencies, testing partners, and technology vendors.
* Ensure developers deliver against requirements and don’t “bluff” on timelines or technical excuses.
* Use AI and modern project tools to improve speed, documentation, and tracking.
Agile Execution & Reporting
* Run stand‑ups, sprint planning, retros, and weekly progress updates.
* Maintain clear project dashboards and documentation (Asana, Jira, Notion, or equivalent).
* Escalate risks and blockers early, with solutions proposed.
Key Outcomes
* Major integration projects (POS ↔ CRM ↔ WMS ↔ HR/Finance) delivered with clear ownership.
* Cross‑functional teams aligned with zero “black hole” projects.
* External vendors managed effectively, delivering on‑time and in‑scope.
* Project delivery success rate >80% (measured by scope, timeline, budget).
* Known internally as a “rockstar PM who gets things done.”
Requirement :
Experience:
* 5–8 years in IT/digital project management.
* Proven track record managing cross‑functional tech/business projects.
* Familiar with retail/e‑commerce environments a strong plus.
* Agency/vendor management experience required.
Skills & Competencies:
* Agile project management mindset (scrum/kanban).
* Technical literacy: understands APIs, system architecture, integration basics (enough to manage devs).
* Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting mindset.
* Exceptional communication skills (able to manage both business stakeholders and technical teams).
* Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, Notion).
