Would you like to be part of a broad technical team who works at generating and applying the best technical solutions to our systems? /b /p pbWe’re looking for a curious mind who loves interfacing with local and Group colleagues and customers and knows how to use the most advanced analysis and design tools. /b /p h3Scope of the role /h3 pThe role is responsible for the design, development, and testing of new products, as well as the optimization of existing ones through structural and thermal finite element analyses and experimental testing. /p pIn collaboration with the technical team, the role carries out all simulations required to verify the optimal performance of plastic material injection into the mold, ensuring that both new and existing products achieve the best possible manufacturing solutions from a technological standpoint. /p pDrawing on technical expertise, the person in this role interacts with the customer and internal colleagues (Service, Sales, Application, Engineering,…) to define the ideal layout of the injection system, and uses Ansys and Moldflow software for thermal and fluid-dynamic validation and optimization. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign of new components and implementation of optimizations /li liMechanical component sizing calculations, in particular for: ul lithreaded connections, pressure vessels (thick-walled tubes), metal-to-metal seals, contact pressures, static and fatigue strength assessments, and pneumatic circuits /li /ul /li liDesign and execution of experimental tests to validate the performance of newly designed or modified components /li liPreparation of technical reports related to mechanical design and experimental testing activities /li liStructural analysis of critical components, both standard and custom (Ansys – execution and supervision) /li liThermal analysis of injection system components, either for new catalog parts or for optimization of existing ones (Ansys – execution and supervision) /li liCollaboration in the execution and interpretation of experimental tests carried out internally /li liDesign of injection systems (in co-design with the mold maker) focusing on the sizing of flow channels /li liAnalysis of defects and identification of possible solutions /liliTechnical consulting and, when necessary, on-site visits during molding tests and repair activities, in coordination with the Service team /li liSteady-state thermal analysis of injection systems (e.g., balance issues or localized degradation points) using Ansys /li liSteady-state thermal analyses for optimization of heater layout, distribution of thermal barriers, and positioning of temperature sensors /li liProper selection of tips based on the application /li liTransfer of simulation results (MoldFlow) to the UT designer responsible for creating the construction drawings. /li /ul h3Education, technical and soft skills, competences requested /h3 ul liMaster’s or bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Mechanics or Informatics). /li liProgramming competences (VB, C++, python, Java). /li liKnowledge of technical design skills. /li liExcellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Italian. /li liExcellent knowledge of the Office package and CAD (preferably Creo). /li liAbility to work in team and to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. /li liExcellent flexibility and accuracy are required. /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 pAssociate /p h3Employment type /h3 pFull-time /p h3Job function /h3 pManufacturing /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
