This organization is characterized as a co-located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). Responsibilities
 * Facilitate continuous improvement on Handling and Transport processes across the manufacturing sites.
 * Analyse As Is and future state and be motivated to improve activities.
 * Create and maintain a plan for improvement.
 * Create the needed Engineering Change Notices (CNs).
 * Lead improvement tasks/projects.
 * Case handler on an escalation process, used when factories cannot progress the production – meaning it is both urgent and most of the time critical to get solved fast.
 * Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.
 * Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams.
 * Apply continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean.
Education
 * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or alike.
 * Lean certification.
Experience
 * About 6-8 years of experience in similar roles.
Core Competences
 * A blend of technical, analytical, and operational competencies tailored to Handling & Transport and continuous improvement.
 * Skills in process design and optimization related to Handling & Transport.
 * Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems.
 * Data‑Driven Decision Making, use of data analytics tools such as Lean.
 * Use of tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify and solve Handling or Logistic issues.
 * Self‑motivated; result‑oriented and possesses great organizational discipline.
 * Customer‑oriented and able to understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective.
 * Commitment to learning.
