Network & Security Architecture and Design Manager role at Boeing. 
Boeing Italy is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional to join the Network Infrastructure Services & Data Centers (NIS & DC) team in either Foggia or Milan, Italy. 
The selected candidate will oversee architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's network, IT infrastructure and security measures. 
This position requires managing a team of network designers and security analysts, ensuring network optimization, performance, reliability, and security across all environments (LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, data centers, and enterprise IT assets). 
It is essential to foster a culture of process, technical and operational excellence with a commitment to high reliability and quality assurance to meet the highest standards. 
You will collaborate with peers, senior managers and the Executive Director to achieve these goals through program development, process excellence, and analytic measures designed to proactively resolve issues and drive continual service improvements.

Position Responsibilities 
Oversee daily operations of the Network Architecture and Design teams, ensuring network architectural standards are followed and implemented through every step of the design processes 
Develop, document, implement and maintain network architectural standards to enable design and automation with high quality and efficiency 
Deliver reliable patterns for LAN, WLAN, WAN, cloud and the security measures required to protect against cyber threats 
Analyze network performance, plan for future capacity, and recommend upgrades to ensure optimal performance and scalability 
Collaborate with network designers, system administrators, security specialists, and lead teams to implement and maintain network solutions 
Work across IT and business units to achieve efficient, productive operations 
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and security analysts, fostering collaboration and high performance 
Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, procedures, and related information 
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in networking and security, evaluating and integrating new technologies as appropriate 
Manage budget and resources effectively 
Participate in network audits and assessments and address findings through documented, process-driven responses 
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) 
5+ years of experience with Cisco and Arista networking, load balancing, firewalls, and related technologies for network solutions 
5+ years of experience with network design, architecture, protocols, security, and / or operations for effective network management and implementation 
3+ years of experience in managing and / or leading network and / or security design and architecture 
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) 
Bachelor's degree or higher 
Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation 
Work Authorization 
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Italy. 
Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Italy.
