Overview
TXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT Group, is seeking two skilled professionals with proven experience in System Engineering and Software Engineering applied to complex avionics systems, with a focus on Navigation Systems (TACAN, DME, VOR, etc.) and Flight Management System (FMS). The selected candidates will join an integrated team working directly with a major aerospace client on a high-technology, strategically relevant program. Full-time on-site presence at the client’s premises is required.
Responsibilities
* System and software analysis, specification, design, and integration of Navigation and FMS components
* Support in requirements definition and traceability (DOORS or equivalent)
* Contribution to certification processes in accordance with aerospace standards (DO-178C, ARP4754A, DO-254)
* Production of technical documentation in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
* Participation in design reviews, technical meetings, and direct interaction with the customer
* Application of MBSE methodologies using tools such as CATIA Magic / Cameo Systems Modeler (SysML)
Mandatory Requirements
* Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM disciplines
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in avionics system development with a focus on Navigation and FMS
* Strong understanding of system engineering processes and safety-critical software development lifecycle
* Familiarity with avionics standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC 424, ARINC 661, ARP4754A
* Knowledge of communication protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX
* Experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, Git, Jira, and version control systems
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and a team-oriented mindset
Optional Skills
* Experience with flight simulators or integration in real aircraft environments
* Programming background (Ada, C/C++, Python)
* Hands-on experience in SysML modeling for system architecture design and analysis
