">The Role of a Commis de Rang:
- The Commis de Rang works closely with all restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service for our guests. This involves fully absorbing service and guest management techniques in accordance with our operating standards and procedures.
- A key aspect of this role is maintaining a harmonious work atmosphere through collaboration and teamwork. By doing so, the Commis de Rang will be able to anticipate the needs of our guests by taking meticulous care of details and providing excellent customer service.
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers, and colleagues
- Ensure the mise en place is properly maintained both in the restaurant and in the back office
- Maintain a clean and organized waiter station, ensuring it is equipped for service (cutlery, glasses, ménage, trolleys, etc.)
- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests by paying attention to detail and delivering top-notch customer service
- Be an active participant in teamwork and cooperate with every colleague
- Collect materials needed from the warehouse in accordance with instructions received
- Assist in counting linen in compliance with procedures
- Comply with HACCP system rules
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the canteen area
- Properly use and maintain all equipment and materials supplied
- Implement knowledge gained during training sessions
