Working closely with the Bar Manager, you will support daily operations while leading by example on the floor, ensuring service excellence, team engagement, and authentic guest connections. Responsibilities: Support the Bar Manager in the day-to-day management of the bar operations, ensuring consistency with Belmond service standards. Supervise bar service and guest interactions, delivering a seamless, personalised, and high-quality experience. Lead, coach, and motivate the bar team, fostering a positive working environment and a culture of continuous learning. Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and operational organisation. Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management, supporting cost control and revenue optimisation. Handle guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and a solution-oriented approach. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support events, special menus, and seasonal concepts. Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury hotel bar or premium hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and international beverage trends. Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team. A strong guest-oriented mindset, with attention to detail and service excellence. Good organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages is considered an advantage. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
