Design stamping tools
for sheet metal components using CAD software, ensuring process feasibility and manufacturability.
Conduct
simulations
of stamping processes (e.g., deep drawing, bending) using FEM tools to validate tool performance and prevent defects.
Manage sampling activities, coordinating tool trials, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions.
Support production launch, providing technical assistance, resolving tooling issues, and updating documentation based on feedback.
Collaborate with
suppliers, overseeing tool manufacturing, ensuring compliance with specifications, and managing technical communication.
Participate in
technical project meetings, sharing progress, addressing challenges, and
aligning with cross-functional teams .
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering fields; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience.
Experience : 5+ years of experience in Tool design.
Language Skills : Professional-level proficiency in Italian and English.
Technical Skills : Strong technical skills in Mechanical Engineering, Metal stamping and forming, Tools simulation.
Travel Availability : Willingness to travel internationally on spot to engage with customers and international suppliers.
