Reservations Officer Job DescriptionAs a Reservations Officer, you will directly support the Reservation Manager in driving the performance of the reservations team on property.
You will ensure that all SOPs are being adhered to.
You will assist in maintaining and improving reservations operations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in guest reservations, maximizing revenue opportunities and guest and team member satisfaction.
You will monitor daily arrivals for all guest requests and communicate accordingly.
You will handle inventory management, including allotments, group blocks, and rate codes across applicable systems.
You will support the Revenue Manager in upselling efforts within the property and ensure optimal use of all distribution channels, such as IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, Regional, and Corporate Sales Offices.
Additionally, you will assist in managing events in collaboration with the Reservation Manager, specifically:
Manage group and event bookings Maintain guest relationships from event confirmation to post-event feedback collection Support site inspections with the Reservation and Event Managers Contribute to event success by ensuring guest satisfaction and well-being, providing excellent service tailored to their needs Oversee event-related administrative activities, including billing Organize event logistics, coordinating with involved departments (Front Office, F&B, etc.)
Further responsibilities include managing internal digital communication.
QualificationsExperience in the relevant role is required.
Familiarity with hotel operations, available technology, and distribution channels.
Understanding of regional and local market dynamics, competitors, and local events.
