PpThe EMEA Energy and Water team is looking for a Water Infrastructure Manager to support scaling and growth across our Data Centre network. /ppIf you like to drive the development, implementation and construction of new water infrastructure, your work will help deliver large-scale water projects, and water infrastructure projects that our infrastructure needs to renewably and strategically operate. /ppThis role is available in Madrid, Zaragoza, London, Frankfurt, and Dublin. /ppAWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. /ppWe work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliManage design consultants, contractual drafting, develop and document requirements, budgets, and project schedules /liliManage remote 3rd project delivery teams from design through to construction, and possess the ability to facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, and remove barriers to project success. /liliMultitask and re-prioritize and effectively lead deliveries based on ever changing business needs /liliBuild and maintaining overall delivery program and project budget, submitting Capital Allocation Requests to Senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery. /liliPrepare investment need/business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projects to secure water supply and discharges. /li /ulh3A Day in the Life /h3ulliLiaison with a wide range of regulators and external stakeholders (Water utilities, environmental agencies, health department, construction contractors etc) /liliLeverage project management tools and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle. /liliRegularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics vs. commitment of your projects. /liliEnsure construction standards are followed and national construction regulation are complied with. /liliCreate detailed planning packs to build scalable and future proof water infrastructure. /li /ulh3About the Team /h3pAmazon values diverse experiences.
