The role supports the Owner’s Engineer on a renewable energy infrastructure project, overseeing both quality management and site execution. The appointed candidate will supervise on-site construction and quality processes, coordinate project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with technical specifications, contractual obligations, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Construction Oversight Supervise EPC Contractors and subcontractors for adherence to engineering designs, work schedules, and installation procedures. Coordinate and attend all internal and external project meetings (kick-off, weekly, monthly). Monitor site activities and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE). Support interface coordination among multiple contractors working in parallel. Quality Management Review and approve Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Points Programs (IPPs), and construction procedures. Oversee quality assurance throughout all project phases: detail engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Conduct visual inspections and spot checks on materials and installations. Manage non-conformities via PlanRadar; issue and follow up on NCRs. Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) document reviews and verify material certification. Review and supervise commissioning schedules, testing protocols, and performance evaluations. Validate and verify Preliminary and Final As-Built documentation. Follow up on punch list items; verify resolution of deficiencies prior to Mechanical Completion and Provisional Acceptance. Supervise trial runs and ensure operational safety of installed systems. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting Act as main site-level contact for the Owner’s Engineer, EPC Contractors, and grid / certifying authorities. Provide weekly and monthly reports summarizing site progress, quality findings, and corrective actions. Draft meeting minutes and maintain structured documentation on SharePoint. Support the Employer in milestone validations, payment approvals, and grid connection documentation. Requirements Proven experience in site management and quality assurance within large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects. Technical knowledge of electrical / mechanical installations and commissioning procedures. Familiarity with Italian HSE legislation (e.g., DL81 / 08) and international QA / QC standards. Proficient in tools such as PlanRadar and SharePoint; able to produce structured reports. Fluency in English required; Italian proficiency is a strong asset. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Salary : The salary will be commensurate with the type of contract and the candidate’s experience.
