Ph3Overview /h3 pWe are looking for a DigiTal Indirect Commodity Manager to join the Indirect Purchasing Commodity team, reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Commodity. This position is preferably based at our office in Corbetta (Milan). /p pAs the Indirect DigiTal Commodity Manager at Marelli, you will be in charge of: /p ul liICT, with main spend areas: HW, SW, Outsourced partners, Cloud Services, Connectivity, Application and Cybersecurity services. /li liStrive to create sustainable value by integrating and managing external partners with the aim to generate competitive advantages for a sustainable growth in business and quality. /li liThis position aims at managing a reliable supplier panel for the Macro-class of reference (ICT) in accordance with Marelli Indirect Commodity policies and procedures. /li liLead and harmonize supplier management activities across all regions, ensuring alignment with Marelli’s global procurement policies and procedures. /li liDevelop and execute global strategies for key categories. /li /ul pYour next career opportunity with our organization starts here! /p h3About Marelli Our Team /h3 pEmbarking on a new role within Marelli means taking on new challenges and seizing the opportunity to make a bigger, better, bolder impact. As a global yet fast-evolving company, we are always looking to grow and evolve our talents. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libGlobal Commodity Strategy: /b Develop, implement, and continuously improve global commodity strategies in line with corporate objectives, market trends, and business needs. /li libStakeholder and Communication skills: /b Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to translate technical requirements into commercial requirements and business needs in sourcing strategies. /li libSupplier Relationship Management: /b Lead global supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management. Foster strategic partnerships and drive supplier development initiatives. /li libCost Leadership: /b Drive global cost optimization initiatives, leveraging negotiation, value engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies. /li libMarket Intelligence: /b Monitor global market dynamics, pricing trends, and supply risks. Provide actionable insights to executive stakeholders. /li libContract Management: /b Lead global contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements. /li libLegal, Compliance and Risk Management: /b SW licensing compliance, Data Privacy and GDPR, IP rights, Regulatory compliance, contractual risk mitigation. /li libReporting Analytics: /b Oversee global commodity performance metrics, savings, and supplier KPIs. Prepare executive reports and presentations. /li libTeam Leadership: /b Mentor and develop regional commodity teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. /li libDOA: /b Approve within delegation limits the process of the Supplier Bid List / nomination approval. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation: /b Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related field. /li libLanguages: /b Fluent English required; additional languages preferred. /li libExperience: /b Minimum 10 years proven experience managing ICT / Digital categories. /li libTravel: /b Willingness to travel internationally as required. Driving license is required. /li /ul h3Other skills /h3 pFunctional expertise of SAP and/or JAGGAER is considered as a plus. /p h3Expectations /h3 pGood knowledge of MS Office suites, with expert knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to work effectively within a global matrixed organization as a trusted member of a multicultural team, across multiple locations and countries. Problem-solving and analysis techniques, good communication skills (presentation, written, verbal).
