Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site performance against established KPIs and develop plans to enhance processes.
- Establish workplace health and safety programs and coordinate training sessions.
- Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to allocate resources effectively in high-risk areas.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement solutions for identified risks.
A Day in the Life
You will be based on-site at one of our delivery stations, allowing you to closely monitor processes. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, identifying potential issues, and discovering opportunities for improvement. Collaborating with various teams, you will gather data to develop smarter and safer work practices. Additionally, you will set up training programs to help everyone adhere to new safety processes and achieve higher standards.
About the Team
The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team is essential in maintaining the mental and physical well-being of our employees. We collaborate with managers, associates, and local governments to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations, creating a safe workplace. Opportunities within the team range from Health and Safety Technicians to Program Managers, all contributing to the development and implementation of our high safety and well-being standards.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EFQ).
- ASPP or RSPP certification.
- Understanding of Italian Environment, Health, and Safety legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in Italian and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Experience in planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives.
