Key Responsibilities
* General Accounting: first note cash receipts, first note bank transfers, fixed assets, and accruals to keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.
* Ordinary and Simplified Accounting: manage ordinary and simplified accounting systems, maintaining VAT registers and asset registers efficiently.
* Accounts Receivable and Payable: manage the full cycle of customer and supplier accounting, ensuring timely and accurate invoices and payments.
* Maintenance of Accounting Registers: maintain the general ledger, inventory books, master accounts, warehouse records, amortizable assets register, VAT registers, and mandatory corporate books.
* Financial Statement Preparation: draft and verify pre-tax financial statements, including adjustment entries at year-end.
* Tax Declaration Verification: verify periodic VAT settlements, LIPE, F24 forms, unique certifications, Intrastat, and esterometer reports.
* Compliance Verification: ensure fiscal and tax obligations are met accurately and remain compliant.
* Deadline and Procedure Monitoring: monitor and ensure adherence to deadlines and administrative processes.
* Audit Activities: conduct internal audits to ensure integrity and identify discrepancies and corrective actions.
* Bank Reconciliation: perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years of accounting experience in the hotel industry, preferably within structured groups.
* Strong dedication to financial accuracy and excellence.
* Extensive experience in general and simplified accounting.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prepare and verify complex financial statements.
* Deep understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Commitment to excellence in the accounting department.
