For our client, an important multinational company leading company in the distribution of products specifically designed for the prevention of potable water pollution, we are seeking a Sustainability Engineer.Main ResponsibilitiesBuild a coalition across productions sites to have a greater impact on the environmentSupport European sites to define and execute their sustainability goalsAudit and assess sustainability maturity across production sites in EuropeManagement and promotion of various sustainability activities/ projects in the areas of energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, corporate responsibility & employee engagementCommunicate broadly and regularly about sustainability program success to instill a general level of expectation and engagement by all employeesPrograms manage sustainability projectsHost and execute Energy Hunts across EuropeSupport the production of the yearly sustainability reportMonitor industry best practices in sustainability analysesSupport businesses need to respond to customer and other stakeholder audits as necessaryCollect and analyze key sustainability data across sites.Share best practices, communicate lessons learned and help other sites adoptRequirementsSustainability/environmental/energy engineer or similar education (minimum bachelor level9;7-10 years of work experience within the areaExperience with Facilities, Logistics, & Supply Chain Sustainability requiredDemonstrated Program Management skillsStrong planning, coordination and time management skillsPrior experience with business travelStrong project management skillsExcellent English (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills as this role is required to message Sustainability throughout the organization: Verbally town halls and smaller venues, written connect and presentation materials, supporting web and internet contentAbility to work independently with little supervisionAbility to effectively participate in and facilitate team meetingsProactive, result-oriented and hands-on attitudeWorking knowledge of MS Office productsFind your way through AmbiguityOther requirementsThe ability to travel globally without restrictions is required in this position since the person up 50% of the working time will be travelling and working in other countries or working in the production site in LombardySocietà di ricerca e selezione del personale accreditata presso Min.Lav.
