English, Italian native Must be based in Italy – No sponsorship availableAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Precision Mechanical Engineer to support the development of high‑accuracy mechanical components for advanced quality‑control instruments. This role is ideal for an engineer with deep expertise in precision mechanics, strong command of PTC Creo, and a passion for designing components where microns matter.You will work directly with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop robust, reliable, and production‑ready mechanical solutions for torque‑measurement and fine‑mechanics applications.What You Will Work OnDesign and develop precision mechanical components using PTC Creo.Create mechanical solutions that meet strict requirements for fits, tolerances, and assembly.Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize designs for assembly (DFA).Ensure compliance with industry standards for torque‑measurement equipment.Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Core Skills & ExperienceMaster’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related fields.Strong experience in precision mechanics and high‑accuracy component design.Excellent command of Creo for 3D modeling.Experience with Windchill, SAP, FEM, and CFD.Deep understanding of materials, fine‑mechanics production processes, and heat‑treatment selection.Knowledge of surface coatings and their impact on friction, wear, and dimensional stability.Ability to interpret strict technical regulations and quality requirements.How You WorkAutonomous, responsible, and able to guide technical decisions.Clear, structured communication style.Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment.Nice to HaveExperience with measuring instruments, precision actuators, robotics, optical/mechatronic systems, or high‑accuracy medical devices.Familiarity with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA methodologies.Good command of English (mandatory).Additional Information Location: On‑site in Paderno Dugnano (no remote work).
