If you share our passion for technological challenges and are ready to develop your skills to tackle tomorrow's projects, this could be the right opportunity for you. /p h3Subsea Pipeline Installation Engineer /h3 pThe Subsea Pipeline Installation Engineer is responsible for engineering, planning, and executing the safe and efficient installation of subsea pipelines in shallow‑water offshore environments. The role includes installation method development, marine spread engineering, analysis, offshore support, and multi‑discipline coordination. /p h3Installation Engineering Method Development /h3 ul liDevelop installation methodologies for S‑lay/barge lay, shore approach, tie‑in spools, and jumpers. /li liPerform engineering calculations: catenary, tension, MBR control, stress/strain, on‑bottom stability. /li liReview metocean limits and operational weather windows. /li liPrepare trenching, jetting, and burial methods. /li /ul h3Offshore Execution Support /h3 ul liSupport offshore mobilization, deck setup, welding spread arrangement. /li liCoordinate with vessel crew, ROV, and survey teams. /li liResolve offshore engineering issues during operations. /li liPrepare installation procedures, work packs, method statements. /li liDevelop risk assessments, lifting plans, and touchdown monitoring procedures. /li liReview contractor procedures for compliance with project requirements. /li /ul h3Interface Coordination /h3 ul liInterface with pipeline design for MBR, loads, coating and free‑span limits. /li liInterface with subsea structures for tie‑in, lifting, and handling requirements. /li liInterface with umbilical/FOC and controls teams for routing and combined lay. /li liInterface with marine and survey teams for UXO clearance, route verification, and as‑built surveys. /li /ul h3Marine Spread Selection Planning /h3 ul liSupport selection of lay barges, anchor spreads, and marine support vessels. /li liReview stinger/roller setups and tensioner capability. /li liPlan shallow‑water anchor patterns and vessel maneuvering constraints. /li /ul h3Trenching, Protection Post‑Lay Activities /h3 ul liReview trenching/jetting/ploughing techniques. /li liSupport post‑lay survey review and free‑span remediation. /li liParticipate in HAZID/HAZOP and constructability workshops. /li liDevelop SIMOPS plans for marine operations. /li liEnsure all installation activities comply with HSE and marine assurance requirements. /li /ul h3Technical Requirements /h3 ul liKnowledge of pipeline installation engineering: catenary, MBR, stability, tension control. /li liUnderstanding of shallow‑water constraints and surf‑zone challenges. /li liProficiency with OrcaFlex, PipeLay, Offpipe, MathCAD, and route planning tools. /li liKnowledge of pipeline materials, coatings, buckle arrestors, and field joints. /li liFamiliarity with trenching, protection, and tie‑in systems. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, or related Engineering. /li li8–10 years’ experience in subsea pipeline installation engineering. /li liExperience in shallow‑water S‑lay/barge lay operations. /li liOffshore installation support experience preferred. /li liKnowledge of DNV‑ST‑F101, DNV‑RP‑F109, API RP 1111 standards. /li /ul h3Shallow‑Water Subsea Pipeline Scheme /h3 pThe Material Engineer is responsible for material selection, corrosion control, welding and coating specifications, QA/QC, and technical assurance for subsea pipelines and associated subsea structures in a shallow‑water development. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and long‑term integrity needs. /p h3Develop Material Selection Reports /h3 ul liDevelop material selection reports for linepipe, fittings, PLET/PLEM structures, CRA materials, and flanges. /li liEnsure compliance with DNV‑ST‑F101, API 5L, ISO 13628, and API 17D standards. /li /ul h3Corrosion Engineering Protection Systems /h3 ul liDefine internal and external corrosion protection strategies. /li liReview CP design calculations, anode systems, and coating specifications. /li liEvaluate inhibitor/MEG/CI requirements and corrosion risk assessments. /li liReview WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications. /li liSupport weld overlay, clad systems, and heat treatment requirements. /li liReview NDT requirements and weldability evaluations. /li /ul h3Coating Field Joint Protection /h3 ul liDefine external coating systems and field joint coating (FJC) requirements. /li liReview coating procedures, qualification testing, and mechanical protection (CWC, anti‑buckle sleeves). /li /ul h3Pipeline Integrity Technical Assurance /h3 ul liReview fracture toughness, sour service suitability, fatigue performance, and material traceability. /li liParticipate in integrity reviews, audits, and resolve NCRs. /li liSupport failure investigation and root‑cause analysis. /li /ul h3Interface Management /h3 ul liInterface with pipeline, structures, umbilical/controls, fabrication yards, and installation teams. /li liEnsure alignment of material specifications across disciplines. /li liReview linepipe mills, CRA vendors, bends, and coating plants. /li liParticipate in FAT, mill testing (DWTT, Charpy, CTOD), and coating trials. /li liMonitor compliance with ITPs/QCPs and QA documentation. /li /ul h3Technical Competence Requirements /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of metallurgy (carbon steel, alloy steel, duplex/Super Duplex). /li liExpertise in internal/external corrosion and CP design. /li liKnowledge of offshore coating and insulation systems (FBE, 3LPE, PP). /li liExperience with welding metallurgy, HAZ control, and NDT techniques. /li liFamiliarity with DNV‑ST‑F101, API 5L, ISO 15156/NACE MR0175, and API 17D standards. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Materials, Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Corrosion Engineering. /li li12 years’ experience in subsea/offshore materials engineering. /li liExperience with linepipe mills, coating yards, and offshore FJC. /li liStrong technical communication and QA/QC background. /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 ul liMid‑Senior level /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull‑time /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liOutsourcing and Offshoring Consulting and Oil and Gas /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
