What you will do
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to manage a team of engineers across Italy. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing direction to the engineering team for all tasks, including planning, design, estimation, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring proper resource allocation and meeting productivity targets.
* Maintaining engineering integrity of all projects, ensuring quality, technical, administrative, and financial requirements are met.
* Delivering high-quality technical solutions and engineering deliverables aligned with project schedules to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborating across functions such as project delivery, sales, backend engineering, procurement, and product management to ensure on-time delivery and cost reduction.
* Monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting on project status, issues, risks, and activities to meet deployment and project objectives.
* Working with Global Complex Engineering Leaders to drive strategic initiatives for the Pacific region to improve engineering efficiency.
* Coordinating with Project/Branch Managers, Sales teams, customers, consultants, and architects for engineering delivery plans and priorities.
* Supporting deployment of Global Engineering and Operations Management tools in the region.
* Planning resources, overseeing hiring, and developing team competencies to support business growth.
What we look for
* An Engineering Degree or equivalent
* 10+ years of experience in engineering (Controls, CCTV, Access Controls, etc.)
* Ability to manage multiple challenges, prioritize responsibilities, and lead a matrix organization effectively.
* Leadership and People Management skills
* Fluency in English
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel locally
