Position Summary
Reporting to the ITT Strategy & Business Development Manager, the candidate will have the primary function to support the development of Motion Technologies strategy along our 3 pillars (Growth, Innovation and Operational Excellence) that ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Preparation of 3-5 years strategic plan in cooperation with main company functions (sales, R&D, operations, etc)
2. Support planning, modeling & execution of strategic projects (like new product launch, new market entry, etc)
3. Act as the team’s main point of contact for market intelligence, preparing reports on market trends, customer insights, competitor analysis, and internal newsletters
4. Assist in analysis and presentation development for ITT’s leadership team
5. Contribute to M&A activities by identifying potential targets, screening new opportunities, developing profiles and business cases, supporting due diligence, and preparing financial models and presentations
Position Requirements
6. Degree in economics, management or finance is preferred
7. Very good English is a must
8. Highly motivated, self-starter
9. Curious & willing to learn new things, able to jump on different topics & interact with different functions
10. Ability to set priorities and manage own time and work to meet deadlines
11. Good communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts in a concise way (preferred)
12. 2–3 years of experience in international companies, with a strong focus on strategic topics and financial modeling. Prior experience in corporate strategy or management consulting is preferred
13. Good presentation skills, able to prepare presentations for top management focused on key messages (preferred)
14. Strong analytical and excel modeling skills, able to analyze complex data sources (structured or unstructured) and gain business insights from them (preferred)
