Résumé de la description de poste: Description de l'emploi: You will use expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals In addition you will: - Use your technical knowledge expertise on gears and shafts for aeronautical power gearboxes - Execute technical feasibility studies and concept design of mechanical transmission components, with a focus on gears design, for next engine opportunities (Next Gen Narrow Body, Hybrid Electric platforms) - Design sub-system and components identifying alternatives, agreeing upon design CTQs, scoring and down-selecting optimal solution to achieve product performance/cost/weight. - Capture system requirements, flow-down to components definition identifying relevant validation needs - Execute detailed design of GBX components for test vehicles and technology maturation needs - Proactively manage activities with other departments and suppliers (concurrence design) - Issue the technical documents relative to the components design according to engineering policies and procedures (presentations as well as analysis reports) - Contribute to and participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews - Manage source technological substantiation and non-conformances assessments (MRB) - Train new hires on gears and shafts design - Lead activities related to development findings, components performance and investigations (test requests, test data postprocess, laboratories investigation) - Use of design tools: CAD as Unigraphics NX, and CAE as Nastran, Ansys and in-house S/Ws. Transmission 3D for gears micro-geometry design Qualifications/Requirements: - Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university - Good knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations - Experience on supply chain processes and HW procurement. - Have strong engineering outlook, hands-on engineering foundation and eager to learn - Clear thinking and diligent approach - English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral. - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics - Creativity and curiosity - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Strong technical aptitude - Solid oral and written communication skills - Analytical thinking skills - Passionate, curious and enthusiastic for engineering challenges - System mindset and problem solver What we offer: Smart working and work life-balance Avio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
