Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing and supplier strategies for assigned categories (e.g. belts/ropes, metalworking, raw material purchasing, turning, milling, laser cutting, bending, forging). Analyze and monitor global procurement markets, identify and evaluate suppliers, and drive supplier development in close collaboration with Quality Management and R&D.; Conduct price, framework, and delivery negotiations to secure best-in-class conditions and sustainable partnerships. Perform end-to-end supply chain and TCO analyses, optimize goods flows, and minimize supply risks. Actively contribute to product development and redesign projects with a focus on cost efficiency and time-to-market. Maintain material master data in the ERP system and prepare KPI-based analyses and reports to identify improvement opportunities. Identify technological trends in procurement and actively contribute ideas for process optimization and digital transformation. Your Profile
Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Purchasing or Supply Chain Management Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in an international industrial environment Excellent ERP system skills and advanced MS Office proficiency Experience with Advanced Planning Tools (APT) is a plus Strong negotiation skills in both national and international contexts Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage Analytical, structured, and proactive working style with a strong sense of responsibility Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams Ready to Make an Impact?
