His main responsibilities are:
1. Prepareand finalize the commissioning strategy of the project and assure hisimplementation throughout the entire project life. For specific topic, such asplanning, involving high level of expertise, the Commissioning Manager operatesin co-ordination with the Construction Manager and the Project Management &Control Manager
2. Assurethe preparation of the project deliverables, their consistency with contractrequirements and their quality through a dedicated team, regardless thelocation and distribution of the engineering centersin charge of the development of such documents;
3. Assure the compliance of commissioning cost with theassigned budget;
4. Participate to project reviewmeetings, hazop and constructability studies and 3D model review;
5. Interface Engineering Departments,Client and Vendors representatives in the execution of the job
6. Finalize the organization chart, the mobilization planfor personnel and vendors;
7. Assign and define duties among thediscipline Superintendents and Supervisors for supporting the Vendorrepresentatives at Site..
8. Organize and co-ordinate all siteactivities, from pre-commissioning up to the performance test, as requested inthe contract through the Commissioning Superintendent;
9. Propose corrective actions in order toovercome upset and delays at site in order to fulfill the overall target of the project;
10. Organize the technical training according to Department standards and Client requirement;
11. Coordinate with the Project HSSE Manager for the PreStart Up HSSE Survey;
12. Develop and foster workingrelationship with Client Project Management in order to enable a seamless handover.
13. Participate to the Performance test eitherVendor packaged units or Plant units where required
· Approvethe Vendor supplied items (packages) Provisional Acceptance Certificate priorto Site Manager for formal acceptance.
