We are seeking a Digital Platform Specialist to join our Digital Sales department. This person will be crucial for the management and development of our e-commerce platform based on Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento). You will report directly to the Digital Platform Senior Specialist, and you'll be part of a broader team that includes all the key professionals necessary for the effective development of an e-commerce platform.
Main activities & accountabilities:
* Project Management: Oversee and coordinate development projects and the implementation of new functionalities on the Adobe Commerce Cloud platform.
* Platform Maintenance: Ensure the correct functionality and performance optimization of the e-commerce platform, identifying and resolving any technical issues.
* External Agency Interface: Collaborate closely with development agencies and external vendors to ensure effective project execution and compliance with company standards.
* Technical Development: Actively participate in the development of technical solutions, with a particular focus on PHP and JavaScript, to improve user experience and platform functionalities.
* SEO/SEM Optimization: Contribute to the technical optimization of the platform for SEO and SEM strategies.
* Analysis and Reporting: Monitor e-commerce platform performance and produce periodic reports to identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in development and management e-commerce platforms, preferably on Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento) within e-commerce companies or digital agencies.
* Solid Knowledge of: PHP and JavaScript programming languages, front-end (HTML5, CSS3) and back-end web technologies, API integration principles, relational databases (e.g., MySQL), version control tools (e.g., Git). Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus.
* Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
* Strong problem-solving orientation and proactivity.
* Proficient in English (written and spoken).
