On behalf of our Client, a well-established Service provider, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit an AML Officer to be based in Nicosia. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this AML Officer role to be based in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Constructing of Economic Profiles for the Companies based on information for each company and activities of each company
2. Analysing the information of each company independently and be able to determine the activities, transactions etc.
3. Preparing Economic Profiles for the Clients, Companies, Officers etc.
4. Perform transaction monitoring and transaction analysis
5. Prepare and submit all necessary Reports for CBA and CySec regulated entities (monthly, quarterly, annually).
6. Prepare Annual Internal Audit of the Companies
7. Perform risk assessments for the company’s and clients
8. Updating relevant information for each group of clients on a regular basis
9. Design procedures that should be followed for efficiency and smooth operation of the departments of the company/ies
10. Collect and analyse due diligence
11. Perform necessary screenings and analysing the results accordingly
12. Providing guidance to team members in relation to AML and Compliance matters i.e. collection of documents, proper certification of documents
13. Updating Company’s Compliance Software with relevant information regarding Companies under management ie. Activities, financial information, UBO etc
14. Monitoring and be up to date with all regulations and directives and ensure that the Company/ies has in place all relevant documentation to support compliance
15. Organise the Compliance Department in general and be up to date with all requirements of law and regulator; Create internal MEMOs with an update of requirements, keep AML manual updated at all the time, etc.
16. Providing training to team members twice a year
17. Liaise with internal/external auditors and CySec/CBA on AML related matters
18. Act officially as Compliance officer and be appointed to relevant authorities (CBA and if required Cysec)
19. Be appointed as Director of the company/ies
20. Any other ad-hoc related matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
21. Relevant Degree
22. 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
23. Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written).
24. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
25. Proactive and detail-oriented.
26. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
27. Effective communicator and team player.
