MSC Technology Italy, a division of MSC, supports the group’s business through technology solutions, including a strong focus on cyber security in its Operations Center. /p h3Role /h3 ul liMonitor, detect and respond to external and internal cyber-attacks using established processes, procedures, and tools. /li liIdentify vulnerabilities and propose or design security controls to mitigate risks. /li liInstall, secure, operate, and troubleshoot Security solutions. /li liApply security governance, enforce security policies, and industrialise processes for Security operators. /li liContribute to the design of IT solutions, infrastructure, or applications while enforcing security best practices. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild security alerts, dashboards and reports to support threat management. /li liBuild and operate security solutions, both technical and service based. /li liRun continuous tests on existing infrastructures and applications. /li liConduct security audits. /li liResearch new threats and develop appropriate detection and protective measures. /li liDevelop anomaly detection patterns across a broad range of technologies and log sources. /li liAdminister and support log platform and improve data sources for central log infrastructure. /li liSupport management with execution of information security strategy and roadmap. /li liStay current with emerging technology trends and tools. /li liProvide necessary tools for security incident responders. /li liCollaborate with IT experts and customers to ensure integration of solutions within MSC security policies. /li liMaintain proper documentation and training materials. /li liProvide timely, accurate responses to the Security Operations Center Manager questions and inquiries. /li liComplete ad‑hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company. /li liIncorporate good practices and quality processes in activities and projects. /li liPromote IT security best practices and policies among the business. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 pGeneral: /p ul liFive years’ experience in an IT Security role. /li liDegree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. /li liTeam oriented with the ability to work with limited supervision. /li liStrong prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, and decision‑making capabilities for fast‑paced incident handling. /li liAvailability to work on shifts in the office. /li /ul pTechnical: /p ul liExperience with Security components (firewall, WAF, log management, NAC, IPS, IDS, HIDS, SIEM, etc.). /li liWorking knowledge of networking and secure communications. /li liKnowledge of system/application vulnerabilities and exploitation. /li liExperience in cyber/operations security, network security and application security monitoring. /li liExperience with cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and associated digital forensics and incident response techniques. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pBenefits include learning opportunities, a comprehensive welfare system, life and health insurance, modern workstations, and discounts within the MSC group.
