Position
The Warehouse Manager operates within the Finished Products Warehouse in Borgosesia (VC), coordinating the activities and leading a team of approximately 30 people. The role involves implementing all measures aimed at meeting delivery deadlines, schedules, and programs, taking into account legal accounting and tax regulations. In particular, the resource will be responsible of the following activities:
1. Supervising all activities related to the Finished Products Warehouse (Clothing, Accessories), including inbound, outbound, and receiving, handling and reporting quantitative and qualitative issues upon goods receipt (damages, shortages, etc.), storage, picking, packaging, and shipping to ensure efficient flow of goods and ensure the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency.
2. Organizing storage space efficiently, optimizing layouts and processes to improve space utilization and reduce handling times. Developing warehouse management systems, determining requirements for product handling and storage, material usage, inventory, and shipping methods.
3. Constant monitoring of finished product stocks, conducting regular inventories, and implementing controls to ensure accuracy and integrity, taking all corrective actions in case of inventory discrepancies.
4. Supervising, coordinating, and training the warehouse team, assigning tasks accurately, providing training and support, evaluating performance, and ensuring a safe and motivating work environment. Preparation and review of workflows, assessment of staffing needs and space management, to meet company and group standards in terms of quality and efficiency.
5. Collaborating with other departments such as Quality, Logistics, and Sales to ensure coordinated supply chain management and rapid resolution of any problems or discrepancies.
6. Finding opportunities to optimize warehouse processes and proposing and implementing innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs, maintaining a high level of service and ensuring compliance with KPIs by establishing, monitoring, and operationally handling goals, including coordinating regular meetings.
7. Ensuring compliance with current safety regulations, as well as application of company procedures and industry best practices.
Profile
8. University degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
9. Validated experience of at least 5 years in warehouse management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
10. Design skills on operational and logistical processes and flows;
11. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to workoptimallyy in a multifaceted environment with strong leadership abilities, team-working attitude and problem-solving approach;
12. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and major warehouse management systems and software (AS400, SAP S4, SAP WM);
13. Good knowledge of the English language.
