Overview The Strategic Communications & Marketing (SCM) Office is responsible for directing all corporate communications, storytelling, media relations, marketing, branding, creative and digital media strategies across the university. Members of the office work in close collaboration with other university units across both campuses to implement strategies, develop performance standards and monitor effectiveness of the strategies. Responsibilities Support the Integrated MarCom team in the planning and delivery of strategic marketing and communication plans, including the development and execution of tactics, follow-ups, measurement, and post-campaign reporting. Work with SCM team and suppliers to support delivery of tactics. Manage all print requests for the office, which includes submitting requests, gathering quotes, and reviewing proofs. Continuously review and gather communications and marketing materials produced by other institutions and / or within the region to inform competitive scan. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in business administration. 1-3 years' experience in the field of marketing / communications or related field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience may be considered. Strong customer services orientation and the ability to work effectively on cross-function and virtual teams. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively, and work independently. Highly digitally literate, with experience and understanding of social media platforms including social media, digital campaigns, and automated marketing solutions. Familiarity with a variety of marketing mediums, including print, digital, etc., and the ability to select and make recommendations to suit individual needs.
