2. About the Opportunity
As a Community Associate, you’ll be the primary point of contact for the Community and act as the "face" of WeWork. You will report to your building each day to support the Community Management team. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Building a welcoming and collaborative community environment through events and relationship-building among members.
* Ensuring the building is fully operational and processes are running efficiently.
* Driving growth and promotion of WeWork’s service offerings.
* Supporting the Community Team under the guidance of the Community Lead and Community Manager.
* Representing WeWork’s core values and working towards our mission.
3. In this role, you’ll
* Manage the front desk during business hours, greeting members and guests warmly.
* Ensure guest sign-in compliance via Welkio iPad.
* Learn and remember members’ and guests’ names to foster community.
* Anticipate and address members’ needs proactively.
* Maintain the front desk’s organization and cleanliness.
* Notify members of food deliveries and couriers.
* Answer building-related questions regarding policies, wayfinding, and etiquette.
4. Events and Membership Engagement
* Provide feedback on programming and evaluate events based on attendance and satisfaction.
* Celebrate members’ milestones with gifts and notes.
* Promote events through posters and broadcasts.
* Coordinate operational requirements for events.
* Connect members with local services and venues.
* Engage members via the WeWork network.
5. Building Operations and Management
* Manage mail and packages, including sorting, issuing, and returning unclaimed items.
* Maintain mailroom organization and adhere to policies.
* Manage keys and keycards, including inventory and move-out procedures.
* Ensure safety equipment is known and accessible.
* Support coffee machine operation for guests and members.
6. About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the following qualifications:
* College graduate with a four-year degree preferred, but not required.
* Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills.
* Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
* Passionate about entrepreneurial communities.
* Aligned with WeWork’s mission and values.
* Proficient in basic computer skills.
