We are excited to open the selection for a key role: Stewarding Manager.
In this position, you will lead the stewarding and back-of-house operations of a 5-star hotel, ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across all Food & Beverage areas. Working closely with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership, you will support seamless kitchen and service operations while promoting efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Hygiene
* Oversee all stewarding operations for kitchens, outlets, banquets, and back-of-house areas
* Ensure full compliance with hygiene, sanitation, safety, and HACCP standards
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, equipment care, and workflow efficiency
* Support events, VIP functions, and peak operational periods with appropriate stewarding coverage
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, coach, and develop the stewarding team, including supervisors and casual staff
* Promote professionalism, engagement, wellbeing, and alignment with company values
* Foster an inclusive, respectful, and high-performance team culture
Financial & Resource Management
* Optimize labor scheduling and productivity
* Control costs related to inventory, breakage, and waste
* Collaborate with the Procurement team and support budgeting activities
Sustainability & Innovation
* Promote sustainable practices, waste reduction, and responsible use of resources
* Implement efficient and innovative stewarding solutions to improve operations
Candidate Profile
* Proven management experience in stewarding or operations within luxury hospitality environments
* Strong organizational, leadership, and team development skills
* Solid knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and operational compliance
* Adaptable, proactive, and innovative, with a strong focus on team support and guest excellence
