As a Business Controller, your mission is to provide financial leadership and robust business control, enabling general management to make effective, data-driven decisions that drive sustainable, profitable, and inclusive growth. You will achieve this through timely and relevant financial insights, strong internal controls, compliance with Group processes, proactive risk identification, and contributions to business development. You will be part of the Product Company Milan management team and report directly to the General Manager. Your main responsibilities will be to: Strategic Planning, Business Control & Risk Management Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment. Develop and maintain early-warning systems, variance analysis tools, and risk indicators to support proactive decision-making. Provide robust financial insights to guide business development initiatives, cost optimization, and resource allocation. Identify risks and opportunities, proactively raising flags to protect performance and support business agility. Digital Transformation & Business Intelligence Deploy and enhance digital tools that support automation, financial transparency, and workflow efficiency. Champion the use of BI dashboards and analytics to empower leadership and improve operational follow-up. Drive the “Zero Reporting” initiative by minimizing manual reporting through smart automation. Governance, Compliance & Internal Controls Act as the financial reporting owner, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity across all reporting streams. Ensure full compliance with Atlas Copco Group policies, legal requirements, and local statutory standards. Safeguard the company’s financial health through strong internal controls, authorization frameworks (Prokura), and audit-readiness. Support implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and tools. To succeed you will need: Bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, Finance, or Business Administration. At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, ideally in an international industrial or manufacturing environment. Proven leadership skills and a hands-on approach to driving financial performance and team development. Strong expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. Sound knowledge of Italian statutory accounting, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and BI tools (SAP, Power BI or similar). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cultures and functions. High level of integrity, accuracy, and analytical rigor with a strong business acumen.
