NESTLE Italy, Milan Headquarters (Assago) Position Snapshot Employment type: Full-time Contract: Permanent Location: Nestlé Italy, Milan Headquarters (Assago) Education: University Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or equivalent Experience: Proven operational experience relevant to the role, matured in one or more of the following functions: Supply Chain (Demand Supply Planning, Customer Solutions, Supply Chain Development), Sales (KAM, Trade Marketing), Marketing or Finance Skills: Good knowledge of Excel and SAP; strong analytical skills; stakeholder management skills; fluency in Italian and English Responsibilities Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan for a portfolio of products and customers, including the generation and maintenance of Promotion Uplift Volume Drive alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan Collect information and assumptions about promotions, product launches, customer/distribution changes that inform the demand plan Analyze historical sales trends, market trends and customer behaviours to identify patterns and make informed demand forecasts Utilize advanced statistical models and forecasting techniques to improve accuracy and reliability of demand forecasts Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels and customer service levels Minimize Working Capital and lead initiatives into the Value Chain area Share experience and contribute to increase knowledge & capabilities in the own area of expertise within and/or outside own category/market in the Group Provide guidance, coordination and mentorship to junior demand planners. Develop and update relevant training and learning material as needed Act as a super user and/or expert in different forums within own category/market and with other categories and markets Act as a backup of the Supply Chain Co-Pilot for own category/market and key stakeholders, representing first point of contact to address/manage business requests or supply chain issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, systems and tools What will make you successful?
