We are now searching for a
Mid-Senior Backend Developer
Core Responsibilities
· Design and implement robust backend components with a strong focus on clean, maintainable, and performance-predictable code
· Architect scalable and modular systems, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance
· Build and optimize video and audio processing applications, integrating low-level media handling with high-level service logic
· Work with low-level programming constructs, optimizing performance and memory usage where necessary
· Develop and maintain communication protocols, ensuring efficiency and reliability in data exchange
· Implement asynchronous and concurrent programming patterns to build high-performance, non-blocking services
· Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
· Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to bring innovative solutions to the team

What You Will Bring to Us
· Proficiency in backend development
· Understanding of system architecture and component design
· Expertise in low-level programming, including memory management and performance tuning
· Knowledge of asynchronous programming paradigms and concurrency models
· Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as C#, C++, Go
· Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, sockets, and protocol design
· Proficiency in English and Italian

· Knowledge of video processing concepts and tools (e.g. FFmpeg)
· Experience with binary protocols, serialization formats (e.g. Protobuf), and custom data encoding/decoding
