JOB SUMMARY :
The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician works under the supervision of the IT Services Delivery Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting all client computer hardware, software, and peripherals, and troubleshooting all client computer issues organization-wide.
DUTIES PERFORMED :
* Handle service requests via ticket system, phone, email, or in person; provide remote or onsite troubleshooting to resolve technical issues promptly, managing requests according to priority and SLA guidelines.
* Support Windows-based laptops/desktops, including installation, maintenance, configuration, and issue resolution.
* Assist with basic troubleshooting for networking, printing, and IP telephony systems.
* Document issue resolutions and work performed.
* Manage client system user accounts, including password management, creation, modifications, and deletions.
* Install and set up client systems as needed (new employees, relocations, hardware replacements).
* Coordinate with the Purchasing Coordinator to maintain accurate IT asset inventory and assist with purchase requisitions.
* Support the Systems and Network Administrators with project work and emergency issues as needed.
* Participate in weekly on-call shifts, responding to emergency requests appropriately.
* Assist the IT Services Delivery Manager with documenting expenditures, preparing the annual IT budget, cost reports, and other reports; prepare and present monthly, annual, and special reports.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with hardware/software vendors, management, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education :
* Minimum two-year Associate Degree in Computer, Information Technology, or related field with three years of experience, preferably in healthcare, OR
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience.
Experience :
* Minimum of two years relevant experience.
