Overview In this role you enable productization and go-to-market processes for ABB's Process Control Platform. You will work with global IS teams and R&D to optimize PLM workflows using Windchill and integrated tools, driving improvements across productization and governance.
You'll interact with product owners, project managers, and engineers to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable PLM‐linked processes. This is a chance to shape how ABB delivers digital control solutions at scale while collaborating across functions.
You will lead small enhancements and contribute to roadmaps that support a globally distributed organization.
Benefits Primary liaison for productization processes in PLM (Windchill) and integrated apps
Collaborate with Application Managers to support productization applications
Guide IS project teams and process managers on improving PCP Windchill solutions across functions
Contribute to solution architecture for PLM‐linked processes at PCP and Automation Area
Lead small projects/enhancements to improve PLM‐linked processes
Communicate status and health of processes/projects to management
Assist in RFP/RFI processes for upcoming projects or solutions
Responsibilities 5 years of relevant professional experience
Knowledge of R&D business processes related to PLM and go-to-market solutions
Knowledge of PTC Windchill/Navigate or similar PLM technologies and application connectivity (e.g., API, Biz Talk)
Ability to drive roadmaps, projects, and maintenance tasks
Experience managing virtual/global IS and R&D teams
Fluency in English
Willingness to learn IT project definitions for R&D and leading IT platforms (e.g., PLM‐Windchill, ALM‐Azure DevOps, CAD)
