H3What's the role? /h3 pThe purpose of this role is to create a foundation for potential innovation and differentiation. The Codes/Approval Manager is responsible for developing and implementing code and approval strategies for the FP Business area (firestop and support systems). She/he should obtain memberships in selected code committees, engineering associations, and manufacturer associations to contribute Hilti’s expertise. When necessary, she/he should also collaborate with external consultants to influence codes towards higher standards, benefiting Hilti’s business. /p h3What does the role involve? /h3 ol liDevelop and implement a code strategy in coordination with the HUB and BU, covering approaches for Government Ministries, Design Institutes, and other groups involved in approval, design, and specification processes. /li liBuild relationships with key code influencers and officials at ministries and organizations. Develop relationships with key officials and foster good relations with HUB. Provide technical support to government agencies and code committees by developing standards and specifications for the construction industry. /li liResearch competitors’ technical information and provide concise marketing and technical intelligence to Field Engineers. /li liCollaborate with HUB/HAG on product development, regulatory trends, and strategies. Implement strategic objectives as defined by MO and BUs. Propose proactive solutions to safeguard Hilti’s business. /li liMaintain contact with engineering firms and standards/regulatory bodies to stay updated on product technical requirements, including attending committee meetings. /li liDevelop and oversee code/approval training programs and support sales teams during key seminars. /li /ol h3What you need is: /h3 ol liUniversity degree or higher; postgraduate degrees (PhD, MBA) are preferred, especially in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering. /li liProficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. /li liAt least 3 years of experience working with public authorities and ministries on national codes and testing standards. /li liStrong civil/engineering knowledge, skills, and experience. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills.
