Ph3Postdoc positions in Molecular Biology at BRIC /h3 pWe are looking for two highly motivated postdocs to join the Cvejic Lab with the commence date of June 1st, 2026 or soon thereafter. /p pWe are a team of highly skilled researchers collaborating with international partners from industry and other universities to perform exciting interdisciplinary science using cutting‑edge experimental and computational technologies. Our aim is to dissect dynamics and cellular programmes active during human blood lineage development and to decipher how haematopoietic differentiation pathways are influenced by different microenvironments. We use state‑of‑the‑art single‑cell data generation combined with computational analysis to establish principles of blood lineage differentiation. /p pYou will have a strong scientific background in cell biology and epigenetics, and you will be able to demonstrate critical thinking within and beyond these areas. You will be hard working, passionate about science, and keen to learn and improve skills within a supportive research environment. /p pYou will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will be tasked with proactively seeking and maintaining appropriate collaborations. You will be expected to contribute to and support the ongoing research projects in the group on an ad‑hoc basis when needed, working closely with biologists, clinicians and bioinformaticians within and outside the group to accomplish scientific objectives; disseminate your expertise to new lab members, participate in grant writing and be actively involved in scientific discussions within the lab. /p pbProfile /b /p pWe are looking for two highly motivated and enthusiastic postdocs with the following competencies and experience: /p pEssential experience and skills /p ul liExtensive experience in flow cytometry /li liExtensive experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques /li liProfound expertise in cell biology and epigenetics /li liExperience in CRISPR/Cas9 genetic engineering, ideally in a high-throughput/screening context /li liHighly organised /li liExcellent ability to effectively prioritise and multi‑task /li liExperience with and motivation for establishing new methods /li liA PhD in life sciences or related /li liAn excellent research and publication track record /li liExcellent English skills, written and spoken /li /ul pDesirable experience and skills /p ul liExperience in working with primary cells and patient‑derived material /li liExperience in single cell genomics techniques (RNA‑Seq, Multiomics) /li liExperience in tissue dissection and histology /li /ul pbPlace of employment /b /p pThe place of employment is at the Biotech Research Innovation Centre (BRIC), University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in a dynamic and international research environment. Our research facilities include modern laboratories and core facilities Core Facilities – University of Copenhagen (ku.dk). /p pbTerms of employment /b /p pThe average weekly working hours are b37 /b hours per week. /p pThe positions are fixed‑term positions limited until bDecember 31st, 2028 /b. The starting date is the 1st of June 2026 or soon thereafter. /p pEmployment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications.
